Yes, that’s absolutely true Timothy. My son asked me one day ‘Do you love me?’ It felt bad that my poor kid had to ask his mom if he was loved because I hadn’t demonstrated it to him through words or actions.

I told him I did even if I wasn’t overly affectionate or got angry at times. I’m glad he at least voiced his feelings like he always does and made me think about it instead of just grieving those feelings inside.
