Very moving to read Sherry. My brother and I haven’t drifted apart over the years but there is definitely a distance between us. I always wonder what is it that changes the sibling bond so much when children become adults.

I think so many other things come into the picture when you become an adult- your life choices, your new family, money, egos, family dynamics with parents, childhood resentments, different perspectives. It is a complicated relationship.
