Thanks for the shout out Agnes! Yes it's sad, many women put their dreams on the backburner when they have kids. Sometimes there's no other choice especially if they don't have help or financial security.
I also made sacrifices and had major delays (like 10 years!) in pursuing my dreams as the kids were small. But I never gave up on my dreams. I went back to work, re enrolled in college, and devote time to passions like writing/ crafting.
My house is messy, the laundry is overflowing, my to do list never gets done, but I know it’s not the end of the world. Doing something for just me goes a long way in making me feel good. I think it's important for my kids to also realize that mom is an individual who has her own dreams and her needs are just as important. You are doing great! No worries!
