Quasimodo, I was happy to see your response which was the only sane, kind response in a sea of hateful, judgemental ones. People don’t have to agree or like other people’s customs and practices but no one has the right to go on a hate fest and attack someone.
Personally, I don’t know what the big outcry is all about. Don’t we all eat slaughtered turkeys on Thanksgiving? I am Christian and it’s on special holidays like Christmas/Easter that I buy beef or pork from a store and cook it. They might not be slaughtered in the name of religion but they are none the less slaughtered. What’s the big difference?
Food is a very integral part of every person’s culture, traditions, and religion. As long as people are not sacrificing and eating humans, why are people bothered?
