That was beautiful. Sorry for your loss. Your mom reminds me much of my mom. Her words are hard and painful to take sometimes even if she means well. It has a lot to do with all went she went through in her life.

Now as a mother I feel I am slowly turning into her! I am trying to soften the edges and be more the mother I wanted as a child. That said, it is hard!
