I have my own big flaws to work on as a parent, so don’t want to judge the parents. Neither do I defend them. I understand how people want to hold Josh’s parents accountable for his actions, for not understanding the seriousness of the situation, for not taking a stronger stand against abuse when it happened to their daughters, for covering it up with their clean Christian image. This is all true and may have contributed more to the whole situation. But now Josh is a full grown adult. Those are all his actions and he alone is responsible for it. Unfortunately the innocent will suffer because of his actions.
