Great story! I am an introvert and was painfully shy as a kid. As I grew older I definitely did slowly come out of my shell, but still, prefer being in my small group instead of large groups.

You are right. Even though I was a shy kid, I used to ace all the speech and debate competitions, much to the surprise of others. I had confidence once I was behind the mic but got tongue-tied as soon as I was off the stage!

My goal is to one day do a Ted Talk,let’s see how that goes!
