I agree anything in excess becomes toxic. You posed an interesting question. I feel his upbringing may have contributed in some way but it does not fully explain his tendencies. If that was the case, then all his brothers should be harboring similar feelings. Yes, toxic purity does provide the perfect coverup for abuse to thrive. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!
