Hi Charlene, Thanks so much for your response. Yes, religion is a tricky subject like all things in parenting. Should you enforce religion or let your kids come to their own conclusion?

I feel I am midway in the spectrum of religion with my kids. I do tell them that this is the religion we follow and this is who we believe in. They take part in all the classes and practices. But beyond that, I let them simmer in their doubts and question everything. I emphasize to them the greater religion, which is their actions to another.

I never tell them that our religion is the right religion. Because I feel that atonce puts a thought in their head that someone else’s religion is wrong.

This is just my opinion. I feel there are no correct answers because like I wrote, religion is very personal and different to different people. It’s deeply connected to our personal experiences growing up.

So to each his own.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond!
