Hi Alex, I felt the same way too when I took an office job after a customer service job where there was never a quiet private moment. As you said,I felt totally isolated in my cubicle.

It was an uncomfortable situation in the beginning. Being an introvert it took some time to strike up a rapport with others and get used to the new workspace. But now a year later, I have made some good friends and also started liking the privacy of my cubicle. So just give it some time, it will get better.
